Can I use the unused ethernet port on a wireless computer to share internet with something else?
I have a computer that has a wireless connection to my router. I want to connect something that isn’t wireless and is in the same room as the computer but isn’t near the router. Can I use that unused ethernet port from that computer to connect the other device to the network?

Turn ON internet connection sharing on the computer with the wireless and the LAN card.You are going to be using static IPS for this.
We’ll say your router is 192.168.1.1
if it’s not, adjust accordingly.

WIRED card.

The ping is going to be awful, but it should work.
